I recently finished grad school a couple months ago and I've used Syncables Desktop obsessively the past year or so. It's the best product I used in grad school, and I can tell ya the premium version is worth it. I automatically sync all of my files, email, music, photos, and more stuff across my various computers so that I can instantly access the data on any of my synced computers (desktop and laptops). Yesterday I was organizing a bunch of important spreadsheets on my desktop in my apartment and got an urgent call to meet a friend in the city. The finished spreadsheets were due to my boss in 3 or 4 hours. I stopped where I was, threw on my shoes, found my laptop and was out the door. After chatting with my friend for a couple hours at a coffee shop, I picked up where I left off with my spreadsheets on my laptop and finished them with more than half an hour to spare right there at the coffee shop.
Syncables is automatically syncing all of my data between my computers on my home network...I couldn't live without it. So many stories like this one where I would have been stuck between a rock and a hard place on being able to go to the city to help my friend and then trying to weave my way through traffic back to my apartment in time to resume working on the spreadsheets on my desktop. Excellent product, simple to use, and very dependable customer service on their site that's worth checking out (I can even send Skype messages to Syncables to ask for help - very convenient).
